少し前になりますが、鴻上尚史さん主宰サードステージの『地球防衛軍 苦情処理係』という舞台を観に行きました。
今年のわたしの目標は、フットワーク軽くインプットを、です。どうしても仕事ではアウトプットが求められるので、普段から情報や楽しみを取り入れることを楽しもうと思っています。この舞台も、急に思い立ち、一人で見に行ってきました。
話の筋は、地球を守っているはずなのに苦情が続々と寄せられる「苦情処理係」を描いたもの。鴻上さんは、日本の社会と世間の概念を本にも書いていらっしゃいます。ネット社会の圧力など、まさに今、わたしたちが直面しているテーマを面白おかしく提示し、さあ、自分はどう生きたい？ と
問われている気がしました。
舞台を観に行ったのは正直15年ぶりくらい。役者さんもほとんど存じ上げない状態で伺いましたが、面白かったです。まずは観客を楽しませること。その上で、考えてもらうべきテーマを提示するというスタイルが良かったですね。
舞台終了後、元気になって家路に着きました。鴻上さんも、いつかお話ししたい方のお一人ですね。
It was a bit while ago when I went to see the play-writer/ play-director Shoji Kokami's "Chikyuboeigun Kujo Shori Gakari (Planet Defense Force Complaints Handling Department )."
My goal this year is to input as I want to. My work requires me to output so I try to get information or entertained outside work. I just wanted to watch it and got a ticket and went there alone.
The story is about the complaint handling department members while they protect the people on Earth. Kokami-san has written about the Japanese notion of "society" that people belong to and do not. His thoughts on that reflect to the theme as well as pressure the online world has too. He presents it in a funny way and asks us how we want to live.
I hadn't gone watched a play in 15 years. I knew most of the actors but the play was interesting. I like it when they were entertaining and then presenting the theme they want us to think.
I got so much energy from them. I would like to talk to Kokami-san one day. He is one of them.
