Flexible Shoulder Blades

My challenge has been to have a flexible upper body since the beginning of the year. In my latest lesson with Keiko sensei, she told me to focus on the spine and shoulder blades.

She taught me how to stretch my shoulder blades, which goes from the top of my head to the tip of my middle finger. Just because you want to have a flexible shoulder blade area, it doesn't mean you need to only stretch the part since everything is connected.

When I do this move, my shoulder radically lowers to a better position. It's quick to go up but your bones change little by little so I will keep on doing it. It's a plain movement but I can feel hard, fixed facias. Should I put it painful or dull feeling. Once done, it feels so good.
