今日は雨降り、出かける用事があったのですが、自転車は使わず歩くことに。自転車で出かけるのが好きなのですが、歩くと速度が遅いので、普段は気づかないお店や道路に目を向けることができ、それはそれで楽しいですね。
お昼時にレトロ喫茶に入り、少し事務作業をしました。ランチタイムだったので、近所で働いている人がささっと松花堂弁当的なものやナポリタンという懐かしのランチを済ませるのを見て、こういう喫茶店は無くなってほしくないなと思った次第です。
昔はこの店は喫煙者が多く敬遠していましたが、今はきっちり分煙になっているので子連れでも入れます。久々に行きましたが、やっぱり居心地はいい。電源がないのだけがネックですが、また今度行こうと思いました。
It's raining today. I needed to go out so went by walk instead of by bike. I like to cycle but you can find something you'd usually miss when cycling since the speed is slower when you walk.
I went to a kissaten, an old-school type of cafe to work a bit on my computer. Since it's lunchtime, there seemed the people working in the area eating old-school types of food such as shokado bento or spaghetti Napolitana. Lovely! I hope these kinds of places will survive.
This cafe used to allow people to smoke at the seat but now they have the smoking room so smoke-free inside. It'd been a while but it's so comfortable there. It's a shame they don't have power but I'd like go back there sometime soon again.
