今日は雨でしたね。雨は起きる頃は止み間だと思っていたので走る準備をしたのですが、出る直前に割と降ってきたので諦めました。梅雨も始まるし、しばらくはこういう日々かもしれません。
そのあと、子どもの学校行事で学校まで行きました。子どもたちがリサイクルのもので自然、科学の分野の原型を作る展示がありました。
娘は複数のペットボトルを使い、その中に砂や石を入れ、何が入っているかわからないように紙を巻き、音を鳴らすというものを作りました。これに至るまでは他に二つ作ったのですが、テーマに沿わない、簡単すぎると先生に作り直すように言われての三つ目の作品だったのですが、実際に参観に行き、手に取ってペットボトルを振ると楽しめました。クラスの他の子の作品も全て見て、話しかけると、みんな嬉しそうにプレゼンテーションをしてくれました。
It was raining today. I thought I could jog at the time to leave the hose so was preparing, but found out right before I'd left home that it just had started raining again. Soon the rainy season will start so I may have to expect this to happen often,
Afterwards I went to my child's school. They had an assignment to make a model with recycled materials based on the given themes like nature or science.
My daughter used some plastic bottles to put sand or stones, covered them with paper so that people won't see what's inside and ask them to shake to hear the sound. She actually made two different pieces before this but they weren't accepted because they were not fit for the theme and too easy. So the finally the third model worked out! I enjoyed shaking the bottles when I actually went to the class. I tried all the other models by the other children in class and they were happy to make a presentation for me.
