たまたま移動中にラジオをつけたら、たかのてるこさんという方が本を出版され、ゲスト出演されていました。移動時間は10分に満たない間だったのに、たまたま古巣J-WAVEで、知り合いでもあるレイチェルの番組の時間だし聞こうかな、と軽い気持ちで聞いてみたところ、このたかのさんの愛情の深さに驚いてしまいました。
たかのてるこさんとは、旅人、エッセイストという肩書きで本を出版されている方です。もともとお名前は知っていたし、友人が何人かは繋がっているようだというのもわかっていました。『ガンジス河でバタフライ』という本はドラマ化もされています。でも、いつか本を読んでみようと思っていただけで先延ばしにしていたのですが、ラジオから聞こえてくる愛溢れる言葉！こんなに愛情深い人がいるなんて！あっという間にファンになってしまいました。
借金して大学に行くような奨学金は奨学金ではない、この現状を何とか変えられないか、自分だけよくても幸せじゃない、みんなが幸せじゃないと幸せにはなれない。そういう訴えをするたかのさん。ラジオは顔が見えない分、声からその人となりが本当に伝わる媒体だと思うのですが、彼女が真剣にそう思っているのが伝わりました。
わたしも早速、新刊『生きるって、なに？』を購入して読みたいと思います。皆さんも、この方の語り口を聞くと、いっぺんに引き込まれるかも。生きるエネルギーがほとばしるたかのさん、応援しています！
I thought I'd turn on radio when traveling. There was a woman named Teruko Takano appeared on the radio show, Sunrise Funrise, hosted by Rachel Chan. I accidentally turned it on when I had less than ten minutes of traveling lightly thinking let's listen to the station J-WAVE, where I used to work at and it's time for Rachel that I know to have the show. Then I was blown away by Teruko being so affectionate and caring.
Teruko Takano works as a "traveler" and "essayist" and has published books. I knew about her and it seemed like some of my friends were connected to her. One of her books called "Butterfly Stroke in the Ganges" was turned into a TV drama too. As I was thinking to want to read her books, I kind of put it off, but I instantly liked her so much because I was moved by her words that are fill in with love.
She was saying in the show that our grant that is actually making debts to go to university isn't a grant. She cannot be happy even if young people aren't happy. You cannot see faces on radio and that's what it makes radio a media that conveys one's true character and I fell that she was seriously thinking that.
I want to buy her latest book "Ikirutte Nani? (What is Living?)." I am sure you will be a fan of hers instantly once you hear her talk. She is full of energy. I support you, Teruko!
