先日思い立って翌日のチケットを取った美輪明宏さんの音楽会に行ってきました。題して「美輪明宏の世界〜愛の大売り出し ２０１８〜」というもので、来てくれたお客さんに愛をたくさんあげようという気持ちが現れています。
彼の表現方法はやはり突出していますね。そして知識がすごいです。歌の時代背景、芸術家同士の関係などを伝えてから歌っていたのですが、本当に歴史や芸術を知っている人だと思いました。わたしなんて、へえ、と思うしかできないのですが、情緒、教養のインプットが足りないと感じていた矢先だったので、とても良質な時間を過ごせていると感じました。
83歳でいらっしゃるということですが、歌唱力は驚きです。同じ時間をライブで過ごせる幸運を噛み締めながらの数時間でした。
お花が色々な方たちから届いていましたが、興味深かったのは、やはり美意識を大切にされている方たちからなんだろうなと感じられたこと。例えば研ナオコさん、槇原敬之さん、IKKOさん、二階堂ふみさん、漫画家の美内すずえさんも！ その画風を思えば、納得です。
I went to a live performance of Akihiro Miwa that I spontaneously booked the ticket the day before. Titled “The World of Akihiro Miwa - Big Sale for Love 2018 -,“ his intention to convey lots of love to his audience appeared in it.
His performance is extraordinary as well as his knowledge. He would talk about background and connections of artists of the songs he sings. I was convinced he really knows the history and art.
I can only be impressed but I went to his concert because I felt I hadn’t had enough of artistic and cultural input and exposure so I could feel I was spending a quality of time.
He is now 83 years old but his singing is amazing. That was a bliss of a few hours I could spend the same time and space with him.
There were many flowers from different people in the lobby. Interestingly there were quite a lot of people I could tell they were keen to have a sense of beauty. For example, Naoko Ken, Noriyuki Makihara, IKKO, and Fumi Nikaido. Oh the comic artist Suzue Miuchi sent the flowers too! When I think of her drawing, it makes sense that she admires Miwa-san.
