先日、二千円札を二枚見つけました。数年前、ATMか、あとは日本円から別の国のお金に替えた時に余りをもらった時か、そういった機会にもらった二千円札です。
さて、そのうちの一枚を使ってみました。するとお店の若い人が「これ使えるの！？」と別の店員さんに言っているのが聞こえました。何年前に出てきたんでしたっけね？ そしてなぜ、今は流通していないんでしょう。よくわかりませんが、使う時も「すみません、二千円札なんですけど」と少し遠慮気味に言わなければならない紙幣なんて、誰が考えたんでしょうね。 笑
I found two two-thousand yen bills at home. I think we got them from an ATM machine or currency exchange counter when traveling as change.
I used one of them. One shop clark asked another if we could use! How many years ago it was to start being issued? Why is it not used so much? I don't know much but when I used it, I kind of felt obliged to apologized using such a bill. Who the heck thought of making two-thousand yen bills? lol
