街を歩いていると、今年の酉の市のポスターが貼ってありました。今年は１１月１日（木）、１３日（火）、２５日（日）だそうです。
最初にお酉さまのことを知ったのは、15年くらい前だったでしょうか。その頃恵比寿から清澄白河に引っ越しをしたんです。恵比寿に住んでいた理由は、とにかくその頃しょっちゅうテレビ朝日に出入りをしていて、急な呼び出しにも簡単に行けるということ、それからレギュラーの仕事があったJ-WAVEもその頃西麻布だったと思いますが近いということが理由でした。でも都心で部屋はせまく、数年間住んでいるうちに高層ビルにも疲れてきて、ちょうどその頃J-WAVEの番組で一緒に働いていたスタッフが清澄白河に住んでいたので、新しいエリア開拓という気持ちで物件を見に行きました。
結果的に気にいる場所が見つかり、大家さんもいい方で、そこには結婚するまで住んでいました。ブルーボトルコーヒーがショップをオープンする前くらいからちょっとヒップでおしゃれな清澄白河になったと聞いていましたが、当時は地味な下町、でもいい店はいろいろありました。美味しいお魚屋さんやすぐ隣の森下に足を延ばすと綺麗ではありませんがおじいちゃんがやっている安くて美味しい個人の天丼屋さん、それから大好きなイタリアンのたまキャアノ。そこで、わたしは、東京は下町が好きだと確認したのでした。（続く）
I saw a poster of Torinoichi this year. There are three days this year dated on November 1, 13 and 25.
It was about 15 years ago when I learned about it. I moved from Ebisu to Kiyosumi Shirakawa around the time. The reason I lived in Ebisu was I worked at TV Asahi so often and it was close and could go there when I was on an emergency call, and the radio show I regularly worked three times a week at J-WAVE was located in Nishiazabu at the time, I think, so it was also close. But my apartment was tiny since it's so central, and I had been tired of seeing all sky scrapers. My colleague on the J-WAVE show lived in Kiyosumi Shirakawa, and I thuoght I'd explore the new area to check places to live.
As a result, I found a place I liked and my landlord was very nice so I ended up living there until I got married. Kiyosumi has been now known as a hip area, especially when the Bluebottle Coffee opened a cafe there, but when I lived, it wasn't so hip but loved modest shops including a good fish shop and a little tendon (tempra over rice) shop an old man ran and an Italian restrant Tamakyano that I love. I realized I liked that kind of old town feeling called shitamachi very much by living there. (to be continued)
