『破天荒フェニックス』という本を読み終わりました。これは、オンデーズという瀕死の状態の眼鏡屋さんを買収した田中修治さんによる、会社の再生物語です。キングコングの西野亮廣さんが帯にコメントをしていたので、読んでみました。
一言でいうと、ぐいぐいと読まされます。次から次へと襲いかかる苦難。それは、買収前からの従業員と心が通わなかったり、企業が大きくなるためにはリスクを負うことが必要と決めたものの資金繰りが危うくなったりというものなのですが、田中さんからのメッセージは、常に全力で、そして自分の熱い思いを周りの人を巻き込む原動力とする、というものだと解釈しました。
熱い思いを伝えるというのは、わたしの苦手とするものです。格好悪いところを見せたくにと考えてしまうんです。でも、人が心を動かされるのは熱意だったりするわけですよね。わたしも、熱意をちゃんと見せる必要がある、と思いました。
このブログでは、なるべく熱い気持ちを伝えるようにしています。わたしは、自分の生き方を変えてくれたこのダイエット（体重を減らすということだけでなく、生き方を考えることにまで影響を及ぼしたプログラム）を通して、変わりたいと願う人のお手伝いをしたい、と心から願っています。
I just read a book titled "Hatenko (Unprecedented) Phoenix." This book is about the guy, Shuji Tanaka, who bought a glasses shop Owndays that had been in trouble with finances that he tried to revive the company. I raised my interest to read since the comedian/ author/ creator Akihiro Nishino recommended.
In short, this book has power to get readers to read without taking breaks. He has so many issues one after another including he had a difficulty to get the employees' heart who were working before his buyout or taking a risk to make the company bigger but finance gets at stake. Shuji's message persistently is about how important it is to be full of energy about what you have passion about, and make your passion to drive the people around you.
That's something I am not really good at. I don't want to show people myself being so intent. But people are moved when someone is so enthusiastic. I was reminded I need to show my passion without being hesitant.
