上の娘が小三になり、先日初めて、子ども同士で遊ぶ約束をしてきました。
わたしはその子と話したことはあり、とってもいい子だと思っていたので、ついに子ども同士で遊ぶ約束をするようになったかと嬉しかったです。でも、ママの連絡先を知らなかったので、手紙を書いて、帰りの時間は何時まででお願いできますかとわたしの電話番号をことづけておきました。
すると、すぐに携帯に連絡が来て、帰宅時間のことがわかったとのこと、それからとんとん拍子に、またお誘いもいただき、我が家にも来ていただくことになりました。
こうやって、娘を通じてわたしも世界が広がります。ママとお会いするのも楽しみです！
My older daughter is a third grader now and she decided to play with one of her class mates after school for the first time without the parents involved.
I talked to the girl before and thought she was such a nice girl so I was happy that my daughter finally hang out with friends without me. I didn't know her mother's contact information so I gave a letter to my daughter asking she would need to come home by a particular time that day with my number.
Then she texted me right away saying she understood about the time for her to go home. We then made some plans. I have them coming over and they invited my daughter to another event.
I am looking forward to meeting the Mother and happy that my world expands through my daughters!
