今週は、いきなりうちの子どもの学校がオンライン授業になりました。職員の方に感染者が出たことで、消毒などを行うために少なくとも１週間は学校は閉鎖。子どもの学校は、コロナになって以降オンライン授業はずっと並行して行っているので、去年のようなドタバタはないのですが、家に子どもがいるととにかく自分の時間がゆっくり取れません。
朝から、まともにしたことと言えば新聞を読んだくらい……。今日は夕方から制作のオンライン会議があるので、それまでになんとかアイディアを形にしたいのですが、もうあと数時間で会議が始まります。でも、オンラインで授業があるだけありがたいと思わないといけませんね。子どもの学習は遅れることはないので。
別の学校へ通っている友人のお子さんは、１週間夏休みが延長されたと言っていました。9月から学校が始めるところが多いでしょうが、感染の広がりがますます心配です。
My children's school went online this week since they would need to sanitize the school after staff getting infected. So at least one week of school closure. They have had online classes ever since COVID spread last year, so there's no fuss this time for us. I just haven't had time to focus on my work.
What I have done since morning is read a newspaper really... I have a zoom meeting in the evening for the coming up production so I'd like to sort out my ideas by then but the meeting is in a few hours. I should be grateful the kids have online classes, though. At least they are catching up with learning.
Another school my friend's child goes to decided to extend the summer break by a week. There must be some schools starting the second semester from September. I'm worried about expansion of the infection/
