昨日夜はかなり大きな地震がありました。普段から21時に寝るので、地震の時間は完全に寝ていました。揺れにも驚きましたし、携帯の地震速報の音もその後の区の防災の音もなかなかに落ち着かない心持ちでした。
とはいえ、311の時と比べるとずっと短く、もう大丈夫だろうと思うのが早かったです。念の為、お風呂に水だけ溜めて再び眠りに就きました。
起きてみたら、帰宅難民の方が出てたことや水道管が破裂した地域もあったというニュースを知り、大変な方もいらっしゃったんですね。このところまた大きな地震が多く、今後も１週間は余震に気をつけるようにということも読みました。気をつけて過ごしたいものです。
We had a fairly big earthquake last night. Since I go to bed at 9pm, I was completely asleep when it happened. I woke up to the shakes and breaking alarming sound from my cell phone and worried about the announcement from the municipality afterward.
The tremors were big but much shorter than 311 so it didn't take me that long to be confident we'd be fine for the time being. I just kept water in the bath in case the water would be cut off.
In the morning, I learned there were people who couldn't go home or some water pipes raptured. There have been a few different big earthquakes happening throughout the country. I read we should be careful with after-shake for a week. Stay safe everyone.
