昨日、可愛い犬がいました。小さくて、おじいさんが家の前で植物の手入れをしている間は歩道でチョロチョロと動いています。
実は、この子を見るのは初めてではありません。何度か見かけていて、いつもおじいさんと一緒にいるのです。昨日は名前を呼ばれて家に入るよ、とおじいさんが言っても、わたしたちの方にきては匂いを嗅ぎ……。
埒が明かないので、わたしたちがおじいさんの方まで誘導することに。本当に可愛かった。今、我が家ではペットが欲しいという気持ちが高まり、悩ましいところ。旅行をどうするのかが一番の問題になります。我が家はコロナ前は１ヶ月ドイツ滞在ということもあったので、それをどうするのか。犬は散歩が大変だから猫なのか。夫は猫の種類によりますが猫アレルギーなので、猫はやはり難しいのか。いろいろと考えてしまいます。でも、コンパニオンアニマルは癒しですよね。もし飼うならば保護犬か保護猫を考えているので、ペットにとってもいい話ではある。でも責任が……。と、堂々巡りの毎日です。
We saw a very cute dog. It was a very small dog and he moved around on the sidewalk by the owner when he was taking care of the plants.
It wasn't the first time for us to see him. We saw it a few times and every time the old man was taking care of the plants. Yesterday when the old man called him saying let's go home, he didn't actually go. Instead he'd come sniff us...
We ended up taking him to the man. What a cute one. We've been discussing whether we should have a pet. While we really want a companion animal, before the pandemic, we'd stay in Germany for a month. What should we do when we want to travel? Should we get a cat because no one really cannot take a dog for a walk everyday? My husband, depending on the kind, is allergic to cats. Will he be fine with a cat? We'd go to a pet from an animal rescue organization so it's not a bad thing for the pet... But it needs a huge responsibility and a commitment. Difficult to decide.
