京都のご飯屋さん/Kyoto's Restaurant

 今回訪れた、京都の「酒菜 楽林」。ホテルに近かったのでふらっと寄ってみたところ、料理人さんが一人、給仕の方が一人、良い雰囲気の、美味しい和食屋さんでした。

 こちらは魚のメニューが多く、刺身を使って握り寿司も作ってもらえます。わたしは、豆腐のあんかけがとても気に入りました。家庭ではなかなか作れない味で、そういうのにお店で出会うと嬉しくなります。

 この日は夫と二人でお邪魔しましたが、子連れでも大丈夫とのこと。ただしカウンターと座敷のテーブルが一席だけなので、混まない時間帯が良さそうです。五条の近くにお寄りの際は、おすすめのお店です。

Here is the recommendation for restaurant in Kyoto; Shusai Rakurin. Since it's near our hotel, we just randomly swung by. There was a cook and a server. The server is quite friendly, native to Kyoto. I'd say it's a very decent Japanese restaurant in Kyoto.

They have more fish dishes and the cook can make sushi with the row sashimi fish that day. I loved tofu ankake, tofu with thick starchy sauce. It was something I cannot make at home and delicious.

I went there with my husband. We asked if we can bring the children and they said that's fine, but they only have counter seats and one table on small tatami, so it's better to go when it's not too busy. If you are near Gojo, I highly recommend it.
