国会が閉会し、いよいよ参院選に向けて世の中は動いていきます。といっても、日本の投票率の低さはひどいものです。私だって、２０代の時は投票に行かない時もあったくらい無関心でした。でもその無関心が、現状を招いたのです。どうかどの世代の人も選挙に行って欲しいです。
で、昨日カフェにいた男性客２人の会話が通りかかった一瞬だけ聞こえました。「それをやると選挙妨害になるので」。なんらかの関係者なんですね。ともかく、有権者みんな、この国を未来ある方向へ動かすかどうかの意思表示を一人一人行って欲しいです。
The Diet session is closed. The election will be coming up. Our voting rate is horrible in Japan. I've skipped voting when I was in my 20s because I wasn't interested. But being apathetic has made us where we are now. I do hope everyone in any age groups will vote in July.
I heard the two men at the cafe say "...if we do it, it'd be a campaign obstruction." They must have been in the campaign in some way.
Let's carry out our right to show what direction we want this country to move.
