今日の写真は、３年前に夫から誕生日プレゼントとしてもらった、桜の木。こちら、もらった時は咲いていたのですが、そのあと全く咲く兆しを見せなかったのですが、今年はなんと６月に花を咲かせました。
咲かないけど枯れてないので水をやり続けて、よかった。葉っぱが出てるところなんて、生命の息吹がほとばしっています。今まで、じっと待ってたんですね。
この子も植え替えたほうがいいのかもしれません。今は雨が続いているので、梅雨が明けたら植え替えようかな。
Today picture is the tree my husband gave me three years ago for my birthday. It's a cherry tree. It was blooming when given but since then, there has been no sign of blooming till this June.
I am so glad we kept watering it even though it wasn't blooming. Look at the part where the leaves come from. I feel a breath of the life and energy. It waited patiently to bloom.
I may need to plant it in a bigger pot. Once the rainy season is over, I shall do it.
